Summer Junior Program at MIT Campus

This program offers an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study and live in world-renowned MIT Campus in Cambridge MA, home to the worlds top colleges and universities.

This Program is for young students between the ages of 14 to 17. The programs include language study, daily activities and weekend excursions.

Activity Program Options

ELC offers 3 types of afternoon activity options and students can choose their afternoon programs of their choice.

Option 1: Classic Program

Summer Junior Program at MIT

In the Classic Program, students will enjoy the diversity that each city offers through participating in a variety of cultural and sports activities.
Here are some sample activities at MIT Campus program:

  • Sports on the banks of the Charles River
  • Newbury Street
  • Georges Island
  • Bunker Hill
  • Tour of Harvard
  • MIT Museum
  • Freedom Trail Tour

Option 2: University Explorer Program

MIT University Explorer Program

University Explorers will take SAT or TOEFL preparation classes, attend university tours and info sessions in their local area, and work on essay writing and study skills.

  • University tours
  • 6 SAT/TOEFL lessons per week
  • Intro to the university application process
  • Writing skills workshop

Option 3: Science and Technology Explorer Program

make the most out of your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend the summer at MIT.
Science and technology Explorers will get hands-on experience with the most recent and cutting-edge advances in scientific and technological research and development. Explorers will visit on-campus and off-campus laboratories and offices.
